L. PAY ATTENTION - usefull information

When doing ballast/deballast at Vungang port the master/crew has to ensure that the ballast water is clean sea water without oil, sluge, mud... etc even clean hold water!!!

When master/crew wants to paint, chop rust, repair engine, welding fire ...etc at any where, at any place of the ship, THE APLICATION HAS TO ISSUE TO PORT AUTHORITY FOR THEIR GRANT.

If any chandler request, it’s better use the chandler that available register of operation or the chandler recommended by agent. Otherwise some trouble with document will arise.

N. NE MONSOON SEASON

In the winter season there are many time the NE monsoon attack the port. In this regard master/ship requested to arrange mooring line as much as possible. All the rope should be tension steady and equally. Crews are requested to check the tension of the rope always and keep the ship not moving at the berth.

In case of the master anticipate that mooring line, ship’s mooring windlass impossible to make fast the ship when NE monsoon attacking he may request ship shifting out the anchorage for shelter before the NE monsoon attack, if

too late the pilot often refuse when berthing/unberthing at rough sea and wind force from 5-6 BF scale.
